The Athena 38 catamaran has been one that has helped to make Fountaine Pajot worthy, with 2,000 units of series produced in 26 years, among the largest catamarans in the world. Placed on the market in 1994 , this multi-hull of 11.60 meters embodies many of the traits of the shipyard in La Rochelle (France): the fins fixed under the keel, the unique coverage of the deckhouse to "cap" (introduced by the Venezia 42 ) , the insubmersibility is guaranteed with volumes of synthetic foam inserted at the front and rear of the hulls. The boat was designed by Joubert - Nivelt , aims to be a good compromise between style and practicality of the forms of space. Designed for cruiseсs , the Athena 38 is in fact characterised with the effective organization of interior space and is ease to handle with a small crew.
